The second annual Springville Street Painting Festival will be on Sunday,August 2, 2009.

Artists wanted to Paint the Pavement with Pastels.Artists are encouraged to reproduce their most favorite works. Like the true madonnari (Italian street art painter) the work will last only as long as the next rain or street cleaning. The beauty of this art form is observing the artist in progress while enjoying a festive atmosphere.

Click here or information about the history of street painting.

All artists from professional to middle school age are invited to participate.
