Springville Street Painting Festival

 Welcome to our first annual Street Painting

Artists wanted to Paint the Pavement with Pastels.Artists are encouraged to reproduce their most favorite works. Like the true madonnari (Italian street art painter) the work will last only as long as the next rain or street cleaning. The beauty of this art form is observing the artist in progress while enjoying a festive atmosphere.

We will continue to accept artists' applications right up to the day of the event- until we run out of supplies.(All registered artists will receive 48 pastels,a tee shirt and prizes!) If we run out of supplies,feel free to bring your own  and join in the fun. Come be a part of this event that celebrates creativity.

Registered artists will be receiving emails requesting their size specifications and color for their primed street square.Artist may arrive at anytime before 11:00. The priming will be done at 8:00am.

 Street painting is a tradition that began in Italy during the 16th century.This tradition continues today all over the world where festivals are filled with artists, musicians, food and people.Come join our event!!!

Children of all ages can dabble in their creativity at our craft tent.

Families can work together making chalk designs on a huge grid at the Art Center parking lot.
